Haloglow Limited (“Haloglow”) is setting out on a journey to bring “a little more light into your World” by combining the power of fibre optic technology and light emitting diodes (LED’s) on personal and mobile consumer products with benefits of visibility and improved safety to the users.
Haloglow has a dynamic management team with a wealth of experience from consumer product development through to consumer product sales and support. In addition to this consumer product development and sales experience, Haloglow is well versed in manufacturing, product sourcing and the quality controls needed to ensure consumer product satisfaction.
Haloglow has its HQ in Hong Kong but is a multi-cultural, global company that has technology partners throughout Austral-Asia and a sales network that stretches across the continents of Asia, America and Europe. Foremost amongst Haloglow’s technology partners is Poly Optics Australia Pty Limited (“Poly Optics”) who have developed unique and patented fibre optic technology that Haloglow applies exclusively on most of its consumer products.
Haloglow has chosen to start its journey with the launch in July 2008 of the Haloglow Bicycle Helmet, the first light integrated sports helmet in the World using fibre optic technology which will bring visibility and safety benefits to its users.
Haloglow has a business and product development plan to introduce a whole range of consumer products using fibre optic technology in the markets for Sports & Safety Helmets; Bike Illumination; Entertainment; Clothing & Bags; Walking Assistance; and Pet Care.

Mac is one of the founding partners of Haloglow having had a “eureka” moment when he realised the potential of the Poly Optics fibre optic technology to be applied to consumer products and the benefits it could bring to its users, “It’s the Helmet stupid!”.
{Mac is also Managing Director of Strategic Consultants and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Managers and the Operational Research Society (UK).}
Tim also has a degree in Chemistry with a very good understanding of the polymers in the optical fibre used in most of the Haloglow products and offers his advice to the Haloglow Board on this, together with his vast experience gained in the areas of customer sales, product development and man-management.

By the mid 1990’s Todd had become heavily engaged with a group of companies involved in the development and sourcing of electronic and sporting products for major US and International retailers, gaining experience in all aspects of finance, logistics and manufacturing of consumer products. With Todd's finance and operations background he provides the grounded expertise needed to bring the Haloglow product ideas to successful implementation.
Felix spent the early years of his career in the Toy industry in Japan before becoming involved in product development and quality manufacture control across many different consumer products areas, including the electronics and wireless markets. He believes that he has brought his vast experience and knowledge of engineering and design to bear in creating what he sees as the "ultimate bicycle helmet" for Haloglow and hopes its wearers will come to see likewise.
{Felix has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Stirling, Scotland.}
Jonathan gained sport helmet experience in the horse riding sector, and is looking to use the skills and knowledge gained in the broader safety helmet market. Personally fond of mountain biking, skiing, and snowboarding, Jonathan is very keen to help bring the Haloglow product developments to market. Enjoying your favorite sport safely is the way forward!

Now back in France, he is determined to put his network and knowledge of the industry at the service of the Haloglow range of products. A keen sportsman with team spirit, he thrives in bringing innovative ideas and products to the market.
{Harald has an International Business B.A from EPSCI-ESSEC (France) and a M.A in International Studies & Politics from Reading University (England).}

Jay relocated to Asia in early 2004 with Circuit City Stores Inc as Director and Vice President of their Global Sourcing Division. In late 2005 he set up his own company in Hong Kong to advise Global brand manufacturers on achieving OEM product sourcing solutions in China and in helping Asian manufacturers to develop & implement strategies for selling their products in USA.
Jay looks forward to helping Haloglow develop its range of consumer lighted products to meet the demands of the retail buyers and to applying his extensive sales network in USA & Canada to achieve a fast take-up & long-term profitable business for the Haloglow products.
{Jay is also Managing Director of Pearl Delta Consultants and Pearl Delta Products based in Hong Kong; and has degrees in Psychology and Communications; and is a member of CEA and a GLG Council Member in Asia}
Moto-san started his career with a distributor in the iron & steel industry before progressing through sales management positions until being headed for a senior management position with the Hoya Corporation. He was with Hoya Corporation from 1963 to 1992 serving as GM of the Colored Glass department and concurrently as Director of Hoya Optics (CA, USA). After retirement from Hoya Corp's senior management position, he represented US and China enterprises and has won many awards for his devoted contribution to sales and projects. Finally, Moto-san accepted a Sales Rep. position in Japan with Poly Optics Australia which led to his present appointment with Haloglow.
Moto-san is excited to now bring his wealth of experience, knowledge and youthful enthusiasm to driving the sales efforts for Haloglow in Japan.
N.B.: With the appointment of the Lumica Corporation as Haloglow’s exclusive distributor in Japan (see Press Release announcement) Moto-san has decided to take this opportunity to retire and all at Haloglow wish him well for a long and healthy retirement.
